The baby boas born on June 13, 2024 are coming along nicely. We also are only 22 days away from our first ever Ball Python Clutch! 5 eggs from my Clown Het Pied girl Piper sired by Rico Suave (AKA Bruce) the Clown Pied stud.

This litter of 15 boas were born this past Wednesday June 14th, 2024. Mom is a Key West het Sharp and Dad is a Paradigm. I got 7 visual Sharp Albinos and the patterns and sexes will be revealed in a couple weeks after they all shed and have eaten their first meal.

These four females were all I produced this spring. One Bloody Salmon, One Salmon Blood Jungle and two Salmon Jungle Het Bloods! I only had the male in with Roxanne for 2 days. He fertilized 5 and 12 were slugs. I usually keep them together on and off for 2 months. Thats why it was such a low fertilization level. I changed my mind and pulled him out early. Do they not shed while gravid?
They shed after ovulation since that causes them to stretch and shrink. Then again after they deliver their babies.

You would have to have a reliable heat source in the cage during the winter. Its doable as I lived in Minnesota and that got below zero.

Wow are they illegal to keep in Georgia? I thought they were native to most states such as Georgia SC NC ? Or is it because they are native you can’t keep them?
@@kgconstrictors Yea GA law is really dumb. we are not allowed to keep any native non-Venomous and only allowed to keep native venomous. so we can only keep non-native non-venomous and native venomous. i think the only exception is eastern diamondbacks. we need a hard to get expensive permit for those.
@@kgconstrictors obviously people break that law from time to time but its not easy to do cause no where sells them and no online breeders wanna send them here.

Sure. In the wild boas seem to give birth during rainstorms. The theory is the rain helps wash away the scent and gook from the birth which helps shield them from predators.
